the story of casa resnick

Once upon a time, there was a little bird named Rosie.  She fluttered to and fro across the earth, landing on a branch here, resting in a tree there, but never finding a place she called home.

One day, she met a magical manbird named Josh.  The best part?  Under his wing was a gaggle of the cutest little chicklets she’d ever seen.  “Stay a while,” he said, and so they flew off on a grand adventure filled with love, tickles and lots of chocolate chip cookies.

One morning, Rosie awoke to the pitter patter of little feet (and one pair of big feet) in the kitchen.  Rubbing her eyes, she fluttered downstairs to find four little lovebirds staring up at her eagerly.  They had prepared the most beautiful breakfast ever and draped the prettiest hand-sewn quilt above the table:  “Welcome Home Rosie,” it said.

And for the first time, Rosie knew she had found a nest to call home.

Casa Resnick is a love letter to my beautiful family.  I adore you and feel so blessed we found each other.  May we continue to bring one another peace, love, cuddles and a lifetime of the warmest memories.  Oh and a few crispy dark chocolate fleur de sel cookies wouldn’t hurt either!

That banner took so long to make, I’m glad it’s memory lives on:)

I too am privileged and blessed to know the Resnick family…and miss them all like crazy! They are to be loved and adored. Take good care of them Rosie; although I’m sure you already do…
